Burgh Creeping Up To Be The Next Pittsburgh Star

BURGH, the rising star from Pittsburgh’s West Side, is making significant strides in the music industry with the support of VM (ViewManiac), led by content creator Kevin Miles (affiliated with Sony). BURGH has established his brand and recently sparked excitement among fans and industry insiders alike after being seen alongside rap sensation Lil Durk. This sighting has fueled speculation about a potential collaboration between the two artists.

Devlin Marshman, professionally known as BURGH, has been making waves in the music scene since 2017. Early influences like his cousin Rae Zellous, Hus G, Jimmy Wopo’s brother (SluggerGang Ave), and R&B artist Shanice Wilson have shaped his passion for music, which has been evident since childhood. In 2024, BURGH caught the attention of Brian Hooks (known for 3 Strikes and Soul Plane) with his song “Neva Had This,” and also impressed Cassidy (of “Hotel” fame) with his track “On Em.”

In 2020, BURGH received a significant co-sign from Jadakiss, which propelled his single “Neva Had This” to over 500k streams. Collaborating with his brother SluggerGangAve, BURGH’s cover of 6ix9ine’s “Gummo,” titled “Westside Gummo,” garnered over 100k views, further solidifying his presence in the music scene.

Recently, BURGH was interviewed by DJ Coleblooded on WAMO for his single “Get Da Bag,” which has amassed 50k views on YouTube. With his upcoming single “Real Estate,” set to release in August, BURGH is poised for even greater success as he prepares to launch his album of the same name in October.

In addition to his musical endeavors, BURGH is venturing into acting, joining the cast of the star-studded TV series “One Mic.” The show, written and directed by Corely White, features rap legends such as Onyx, Juelz Santana, Blueface, Benzino, JoshfromYNC, and MayorOfDmv. “One Mic” is scheduled to premiere on Tubi and Amazon in 2024, marking another milestone in BURGH’s diverse career.
