Georgia is a state known for its incredible contribution to the hip hop community. From legendary artists like OutKast to Future, the state of hip hop rests in the state of Georgia! Currently a newcomer has been gaining viral attention; his name is DV With The Hanafuda and his sound is as unique as his name.
Originally from the Midwest, DV’s family moved to Georgia from the “Quad Cities” while he was still very young. At an early age, DV With The Hanafuda developed a heavy passion in music. Before the age of 12 he was already playing several instruments and even singing in the choir. According to DV,
“I grew up listening to all types of music but I took a special liking to rock and r&b.” It wouldn’t be until 2007 when DV With The Hanafuda would fall in love with hip hop. Inspired by artists like Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Eminem and J Cole; DV not only wanted to listen to rap, he wanted to create it.
Currently DV is promoting several of his fan favorite records; including “The Alchemist” and “Donald Glover”. DV’s energy is dynamic on every track, and he’s just getting started.
