Headlines
In Hybe news:Dispatch released more Min Hee Jin text messages in which she seemingly dismissed a staff emmebr’s claims of being sexually assaulted, as well as discussed eliminating members from NewJeans’ debut line-up. Dispatch later revealed Hybe as their source for the texts. In turn, Min Hee Jin filed a defamation lawsuit against five Hybe executives, and Hybe announced their intentions to counter sue. CEO Park Ji-won stepped down in part of a planned move towards Hybe 2.0. However, he will remain with the company. Ador released a lengthy statement refuting plagiarism claims again NewJeans’ “Bubblegum.”Sexual assault accusations were raised against actor Yoo Ah-in amid his ongoing illegal drugs trail. His lawyer has denied all claims, and police are investigating.

Red Velvet drop the 10th anniversary single “Sweet Dreams” on August 1.Kim Myungsoo (Infinite‘s L) releases his first solo mini 24/7 on August 5.Astro‘s San-ha also drops the solo mini Dusk on August 6.
