Daze The Nomad: A Journey from Camden to the World Stage

Humble Beginnings in Camden

Daze The Nomad, originally from Camden, New Jersey, began his musical journey in the summer of 2000. Growing up in the system, he found solace and a voice in music, inspired to tell his life story through hip-hop and R&B. Despite not playing any instruments, Daze drew from the profound influence of musical legends like Michael Jackson, LL Cool J, 2Pac, Biggie, and Nas.

The Struggle and the Rise

Daze’s path in the music industry has been long and challenging. Without family support or financial backing, he faced numerous obstacles. However, his passion for music as a form of therapy, rather than a means to become a rock star, kept him grounded and consistent. This mindset allowed him to produce quality music and work with established producers, as well as to educate himself on the business side of the industry.

Building a Legacy

Since 2013, Daze has been releasing singles through United Masters. One of his top singles, “Running Man,” produced by Tony Knucklez and Ajay Bisht, gained international airplay on Fresh 92.7 FM in Adelaide, Australia. His latest single, “Don’t Sleep,” features a music video he directed and edited, now playing on The AandR: Roku TV channel.

Daze’s dedication to his craft is evident on his website, where fans can purchase his latest EP, “Blood Line Runs Deep,” produced by his older brother EQ The Chemist. His online presence extends through various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Memorable Moments and Recognition

One of the most memorable moments in Daze’s career came when a stranger in his new NYC neighborhood recognized him from Instagram and praised his song “Running Man.” This unexpected recognition validated his hard work and reassured him that he was on the right path.

Current and Future Endeavors

Daze continues to create new music and perform live at open mic venues to perfect his stage presence. He has two upcoming singles, “Rollercoaster” and “On Fleek,” and is set to perform at various venues, including yachts, lounges, and festivals in New York City.
