Today (July 1), SEVENTEEN’s DK released a cover of Day6’s 2024 track ‘Happy’ alongside a self-shot music video. The clip, shot in a vlog format, follows the singer travels to Japan for a concert, including behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the boyband spending their free time together.

May I be happy? / I want to laugh every day / I don’t want to worry / Please tell me the answer / So hеlp me, I’m sitting down / I think I’m going to cry / So, please, plеase, please / Tell me, it’s okay to be happy,” DK sings on the chorus.

‘Happy’ was originally released in March this year by Day6 as part of their eighth mini-album, ‘Fourever’. The song was penned by the band’s bassist and vocalist Young K, and composed by members Sungjin and Wonpil.

Last week, SEVENTEEN made history as the first K-pop act to perform at Glastonbury. After performing at the festival, the boy band also made an appearance at a restaurant in Bath where they performed at its live music corner, covering hits by Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and more.

Back in April, the 13-member act released their first-ever compilation album ‘17 Is Right Here’ led by the title track ‘Maestro’. The record also included several new unit tracks and Korean versions of the group’s past Japanese releases.

In other K-pop news, four-member girl group KISS OF LIFE have made a comeback with their new single ‘Sticky’ and its summery music video. The song is accompanied by one B-side, ‘Te Quiero’.
