East Palo Alto’s Savior Sav drops Bay Area-inspired EP “Dangerous Man”

Targeting a Bay Area-oriented audience, Savior Sav knows that leaning into his most comfortable sound is a bona fide way to gain new listeners, supporters and musical traction.  He’s a simple artist; when asked about the inspiration of his recent EP Dangerous Man, he had one thing to say.

“The inspiration behind my release is to set the foundation of who I am as an artist,” Savior Sav said.

Across three tracks, Savior Sav flexes his lyrical capabilities and does exactly what he set out to do, which was to build that foundation and take his game to the next level.  A standout from the three-piece is the funky closer “UP2U” which has a trippy video accompanying it; the project’s second track, “They Know I’m Shinin,” is self-produced, showing that Savior Sav’s talents extend beyond the microphone and into the booth.

Up next for Savior Sav is a simple mission to grow his local fanbase.

“My next moves are to simultaneously promote this project and create and network with other artists in the Bay Area, mostly Oakland,” he said.
