Aurora has delivered a powerful, political set at Glastonbury 2024, and used her set to condemn world leaders for not taking enough action.

The Norwegian singer-songwriter took to The Park Stage today (June 28), for a career-spanning set by the Big Top. Her set followed on from performances earlier in the day from Lynks, Barry Can’t Swim, Dexys and more, and ahead of sets from King Krule and Fontaines D.C. later tonight.
During her set, she broke out a number of her most popular tracks, as well as various songs that featured on her latest studio album ‘What Happened To The Heart’.
It was towards the end of her hour-long set, however, that the singer used her time on stage to make a political message – sharing her sympathy for the children in Palestine, as well as criticising the world leaders for not taking enough action.
“It really bothers me, I feel like the leaders of the world try to fuck us over again and again,” she said during the performance of ‘The Seed’. “This is for all the children in Palestine. I cannot believe these shitty people who hurt our future.”
She also used the moment to hold out a sign made by the non-profit organisation, War Child. It read “No child should be part of war. Ever”. Find footage of the moment below.

Elsewhere in the set, Aurora also dedicated various tracks to those facing oppression in other ways – whether it be through mental health struggles or oppression due to their sexuality.
She also made a light-hearted quip about her nerves while on stage, joking with the audience that being on stage as an introvert felt like she was “shitting in front of you all”. “I don’t know what to do with myself up here,” she added. “I appreciate your love and all your smiling faces”.
The gig took place as Aurora’s second festival gig of the summer, and comes shortly after she announced a London show as part of her upcoming ‘What Happened To The Heart’ tour.
