KCON, CJ ENM’s K-POP Fan & Artist Festival and presented by Samsung Galaxy as title sponsor, today announced the highly anticipated Special Lineup for KCON LA 2024, featuring top K-drama stars Kim Soo Hyun (Queen of Tears), and Park Min Young (Marry My Husband), as part of this year’s expanded festival programming, which is set to celebrate the artistry and innovation of K-pop and K-culture with more stages, more performances, and more immersive activities for fans.
As part of the Special Lineup, K-drama actors Kim Soo Hyun and Park Min Young will take part in Special Fan Meetings at KCON LA 2024’s M&G STAGE inside the Los Angeles Convention Center. Park will be greeting fans on Saturday, July 27 and Kim’s fan meeting will take place on July 28.
Fans will enjoy highlight scenes and behind-the-scenes talks from globally acclaimed Studio Dragon-produced dramas Marry My Husband and Queen of Tears, introduced by the actors themselves.
This year, promises to be the biggest ever with an enhanced festival experience featuring more on-stage performances both indoors and outdoors, at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the newly-added GILBERT LINDSAY PLAZA.
The expanded FESTIVAL GROUNDS programming aims to showcase and celebrate the creativity and artistry of K-pop and K-culture over the years. New fan festival areas to be featured across KCON LA 2024 include:
K-POP CONTEMPORARY: A content pavilion highlighting every contemporary aspects of K-POP, featuring booths, KCON STAGE, M&G, SHOWCASE, CONNECTING STAGE and FAN & ARTIST GALLERY -a special exhibition connecting fans and artists..FAN CHAMBER: A lively community area inside the LA Convention Center where fans can attend panels and participate in workshops and other interactive activities.FAN SQUARE (GILBERT LINDSAY PLAZA): An outdoor gallery and fan “play” area with all-day dance performances, food, photo zones, and cool zone to bask in the festival atmosphere.
