The Killers played their song ‘Battle Born’ for the first time in 11 years at their show in Dublin over the weekend – watch the footage below.
Brandon Flowers and co. dusted off the 2012 track – taken from their fourth album of the same name – during their third gig at the 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday night (June 15).

Once again, the Las Vegas band switched up the setlist for their ‘Rebel Diamonds’ UK and Ireland greatest hits tour. They gave numerous songs their tour debuts including ‘Run For Cover’, ‘Quiet Town’ and ‘Here With Me’, and covered Elvis Presley‘s ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight?’.
The three-track encore saw The Killers perform ‘Lightning Fields’ for the first time on this current run of concerts, before airing fan-favourite ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ from their classic debut album ‘Hot Fuss’.
To round off the evening, the group played an extended version of the ‘Battle Born’ title track – marking its first appearance in the setlist since 2013. Additionally, The Killers incorporated a cover of U2‘s ‘The Sweetest Thing’ into ‘Read My Mind’.
See the performance of ‘Battle Born’ below, along with more fan-shot videos from the show.
The 2024 UK and Ireland dates have also seen founding member and lead guitarist Dave Keuning return to the line-up, following his departure in 2017 to spend more time with his family. He confirmed that he wouldn’t be joining the band to tour their fifth studio album, ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, seven years ago, but remained a member of the group.
Last month saw ‘Hot Fuss’ hit ‘Mr Brightside’ overtake Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ to become the UK’s official biggest single of all time yet to reach Number One.
According to figures from the Official Charts Company, it has UK sales and streams of 5.57million, yet never topped the charts.
