BTS’ Jimin Announces Second Solo Album, “MUSE”

 

For ARMY’s, June is always a fun time. A month that is always jam-packed with fun content to celebrate BTS’s festa. Another surprise dropped with the group creating a broadcast channel titled ARMY’S ONLY. Soon after, a cryptic clip dropped of vocalist Park Jimin. Later, the page continued to drop hints that led to the official announcement that Jimin was to release his second solo album, titled Muse, on July 19th.

In a statement BigHit announced, “We are excited to share details about the release of BTS member Jimin’s second solo album, “MUSE.” Following his first solo album, “FACE,” where he sought to explore his true identity, “MUSE” documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration. Showcasing Jimin’s expanded musical spectrum, “MUSE” includes seven tracks, including the fan song “Closer Than This,” released in December 2023.We ask for your continued love and support for Jimin’s second solo album, “MUSE.”

His solo album Face, which was released in March 2023, was well received as he explored his rise to fame and inner thoughts, and his title track Like Crazy went on to land him number one on the Hot 100 Billboard charts. With Festa in full swing, June 12th saw eldest member Kim Seokjin discharged from the military and greeted by his members at the gates. The next day saw him go on to hold an event on their debut date, June 13th, that consisted of hugs, story time of his time in the military, and live performances of Moon, The Astronaut, and an extended version of the fan favourite Super Tuna.

Muse will be available for pre-order starting 11 AM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 (KST) with the official release date 1 PM, Friday, July 19, 2024 (KST).
