Belly stands politically correct with “Patience vs. Patients”, the first single off the XO artist’s upcoming album, 96 Miles From Bethlehem.
Clocking in at :80 seconds, the accompanying visual follows the Ontario rapper strolling through various catastrophes and battlefields around the world while unleashing his thought-provoking bars.
“I know we’re dealing with a dangerous beast / Kill us in broad day, then they blame the deceased,” raps Belly. He continues, “There was no change, even when we came with receipts / ‘Cause we gave ’em to a nation of sheep / They said ‘they found a list of terrorists where patients would sleep’ / Written in Arabic / Pointed to the names on the sheet / I’m like… ‘That’s the days of the week’.”
96 Miles From Bethlehem will be Belly’s first project of the year, succeeding last year’s Mumble Rap 2.
