This is the spirit behind the new track from HORNET, “a fantastic day (ahead of us),” the first song off her debut 5-song EP titled Feline, set to release on 26 July.
The playful and nostalgic track explores the quiet comfort a girl finds in monotony. Self-produced and recorded, the song swirls with a mischievous melancholy, driven by intricate percussion, a distorted bass guitar, and a child-like choir that echoes with both innocence and introspection. It captures the beauty and solace of finding peace in the familiar and the mundane.
Indiana Christian and Sonny Lawson created the single’s artwork, and Nina Hayes designed the spectacular-looking wings.

HORNET (Oh! Vered), hailing from New Jersey, has crafted a singular blend of dream pop and the raw edge of alternative music.
