BLACKPINK Jennie‘s collaboration with ZICO has sparked anger towards YG Entertainment‘s treatment of the idol’s solo ventures.

After being with YG Entertainment for years, Jennie had fans excited when she announced the creation of her own company called ODD ATELIER.
Since the announcement, Jennie has been booked and busy, whether it’s focusing on future music, brand collaborations, television cameos, or appearances at huge global events.
Recently, Zico had fans excited after posting snippets of his collaboration with Jennie. In a video shared to the official KOZ Entertainment X account, a video was posted of Jennie singing her part, and Zico was dancing along in the background.

Along with the clip of the two artists, Zico also shared a photo of he and Jennie looking at the lyrics and discussing the collaboration.

When the clips and teasers were posted, netizens quickly hit back at YG Entertainment for how badly they mismanaged Jennie’s solo ventures. They pointed out that over four months since the announcement of her company, Jennie has released more songs and collaborated more than her entire time under YG Entertainment.
