However, there have also been some less-than-positive reactions leading to the video, with many centered around comparisons to BLACKPINK.

Some similarities are expected from the same label; however, the comparisons continue with the video’s release.
Fans of the group complimented the music video and the members’ talents in the video’s comments. Some even felt this video set them apart from BLACKPINK, going for a darker “girl crush” vibe, comparable to the Monster High doll series.
On the other hand, K-Nets felt differently about the vibe of the release. Many were complimentary towards the group and their talents but felt that the resemblance to BLACKPINK was still very strong, even saying it felt like a cover of a BLACKPINK song.
