BABYMONSTER released their first track, “Batter Up,” last year and are set to make their “official debut” next month.

ILLIT debuted on March 25 with their song “Magnetic.”

As two of the girl groups poised to lead the fifth generation of K-Pop, netizens were shocked at ILLIT mentioning BABYMONSTER for the most unexpected reason.
ILLIT recently appeared in a video for Hello82 where they had to guess K-Pop songs from young children acting out the choreography.

At one point, one of the children did what he thought was the point dance move.

Very quickly, Yunah recognized that it was BABYMONSTER and made netizens emotional by saying, “BABYMONSTER sunbaenin.”

They then had a little dance along to the song.

When the indirect interaction was shared, netizens couldn’t contain their excitement at the possibility of future meetings between the two fifth-generation groups. Others couldn’t believe that after only debuting last year, BABYMONSTER are already sunbaenims.
