NCT WISH recently debuted but it seems like they are already professional idols! Member Sion received attention when it was noted that he defied a staff’s orders to grant a fan’s wish.
A fan had underwent a legal name change soon after winning the fansign events. Many fansigns only allow the autograph to be signed to the registered name in order to prevent reselling of autographs. Even though the fan showed the staff a legal document that proved the name change, the staff simply told them that “it was their problem.”
As the fan continued to receive autographs from NCT WISH under their previous name, they began to feel upset at the situation. This all changed when they reached Sion. They explained the situation to Sion, who immediately canceled out his autograph to the fan’s previous name and rewrote it to their current name. The fan noted that he had to do this secretly without the staff noticing. They also claimed that they did not tell him about it to ask for a change, but just wanted to brag to him about their name change.
Thanks to Sion, the fan was able to forget about the staff’s attitude! The tweet went viral with over 600,000 views, with many praising his wit.
