MIYA, formerly active in the group GWSN has released her 1st digital single ‘MIYAO’ on March 8 along with the music video for the single on March 12.
Her song, which bears her own name, paired with the onomatopoeia ‘meow’ has a unique rhythm that incorporates electronic hip-hop elements into a heavy bass sound, and her lyrics are filled with Miya’s identity and determination.
Furthermore, Lena, who was also active in GWSN participated in writing and composing the song, her former producer team also became a part of the recording process, showing their unwavering bond.
The jacket artwork was designed by Miya herself. The music video was also shot in South Korea.

Her agency also said, “Last year, Miya was involved in a wide range of activities, including modeling and appearing in dramas, but starting this year, she will finally start working in earnest as a solo artist.”
