Kevin Gates checks in with his latest music video, “It Won’t Happen”.
Directed by Gerard Victor, the gritty clip centers the Super General delivering an introspective verse from an abandoned house full of bricks and vintage photos.
“I’m making progress now, I put the blueprint down,” he raps while covered in jewels. “I bought a blueberry phone, I’m in a new whip now / I started him off with a zip, he get a few bricks now / I got a Starbucks booming, I make a ship touch down.”
The track is lifted from his latest album, The Ceremony, which features appearance from Sexyy Red and B.G.
