BIGBANG‘s Daesung has officially made his solo comeback, releasing two new songs, “Falling Slowly” and “Light,” on March 5, 2024.

To celebrate his long-awaited comeback, the BIGBANG member appeared on soloist Lee Mujin‘s musical talk show Leemujin Service to discuss the new songs, his fellow group members, his time in the military, and more.

During the episode, Lee Mujin asked Daesung if he had seen the video on YouTube that claimed to be a new BIGBANG song, and he admitted that he had.
The song was created using AI, and Daesung shared how impressed he was by the fanmade content.

Daesung felt the fan captured the members’ vocal characteristics “quite accurately” and was surprised by the quality.
He joked that his first thought was, “Wow, looks like I won’t need to sing anymore! I can just let the AI do everything,” before clarifying that knowing there are fans who continue to anticipate and wait for new music from BIGBANG after 18 years is “the greatest joy.”
