Aespa’s Mise En Scène Campaign Slammed By Netizens For “Discrimination” Against Giselle

On February 27, it was announced that aespa would be the new muse for haircare brand Mise en Scène.

The members have looked gorgeous in their campaign photos, showcasing their gorgeous, glossy hair while promoting various products from the brand.

However, netizens have noticed something on the brand’s website that has them accusing Mise en Scène of being discriminatory against Giselle.

According to them, the shopping page for the brand features products advertised by KarinaWinter, and NingNing. But while there are three listings with Karina, there are two for Winter and just one for NingNing… With Giselle nowhere in sight, apart from one group photo.

This isn’t the first time that netizens have accused brands of excluding Giselle in promotions, but that doesn’t make them any less disappointed for it to seemingly happen again. Many people think that brands tend to promote Karina and Winter the most, since they’re considered the more popular members of the group, while NingNing and especially Giselle usually have fewer advertising opportunities.
