LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura and Chaewon were recently interviewed by Yoo Jae Suk on his YouTube channel Ddeun Ddeun.
They held the interview in the Ddeun Ddeun editing room while eating lunch. They were each given a sandwich from Subway along with their own drinks. While on the topic of food, Yoo Jae Suk brought up the fact that he often visits big entertainment companies to scout out their cafeteria.

The girls confirmed that they have their own cafeteria in HYBE, the parent company of their agency, Source Music. They were proud of the fact that the food they serve is “totally” good.

He asked, “Is it free?” to which the girls had opposite answers.
Chaewon: For us it should be free.
Sakura: Maybe it’s taken out of our pay.

Chaewon stood by her answer, confident that the meals they eat at HYBE are free. Sakura was amazed at her statement, having no idea about this part of their salary split.
Chaewon: But I don’t think it does.
Sakura: Really? Oh, great! I didn’t know. I thought it came out of our pay.

The younger member explained that she had inquired about this topic in the past. While employees have to pay a minimal fee to access the food, artists can avail of them anytime without paying.
I was curious so I had asked before. The meals are free.

The idols saw it as a “huge benefit” especially considering how delicious they find the meals at the cafeteria. HYBE serves a mix of Korean and Western food with their menus changing each month.
