Popular K-Pop Girl Group On Hiatus Has A “5% Chance” Of Reuniting, According To A Member

While K-Pop groups disbanding can be very sad, some fans consider groups staying in limbo and “quietly” disbanding or remaining on indefinite hiatus to be a worse fate. Fans can be left wondering if their faves will ever promote together again.

Recently, a popular third-generation group member shared the likelihood of the group getting together to perform a concert.

In 2014, Woolim Entertainment debuted the girl group Lovelyz, its first female idol group.

The group saw steady popularity and growth until 2021, when seven members departed from Woolim, with the members still desiring to promote and release albums together. This was shown to be true with the group’s appearance on Naver Now‘s Music To You in November 2022.

However, it seems like the group coming together for a concert is unlikely in the near future.

Member Jisoo recently embarked on a new career path, beginning her career as a streamer on the platform AfreecaTV. She talked about many things, including her reasons for becoming a streamer.

She also talked about the group and their future activities, saying they wanted to hold a concert together. Unfortunately, according to Jisoo, the chances are around 5%.

I’m not sure if we could make it happen, but we’ve been talking about holding a concert.”, she said. “The chances are like five percent, but who knows?

However, she does believe it is possible because of Woolim’s current CEO, though there would have to be a lot of arranging due to the members’ busy schedules.

I believe it’s possible because CEO Lee Jung-yeop of Woollim Entertainment loves us a lot. However, each member is busy with their schedules, and we all are with different agencies. Still, we’ve been doing our best to make it happen.

Hopefully, the group are able to make it happen even though the chances are so low!
