Amidst the news that actor Lee Jae Wook and aespa‘s Karina are in the early stages of getting to know each other, netizens couldn’t get over a coincidental mention of the idol in a new video.

After the news was released, Lee Jae Wook joined his The Impossible Heir co-star Lee Jun Young as guests on Salon Drip.

Fans found it amusing straight away because it wasn’t long ago that Karina also appeared on Salon Drip.

What was even crazier was towards the end of the video, there was an unexpected mention of Karina in the video. During the episode, MC Jang Do Yeon was asked if she was to film a travel variety show, out of everyone who had appeared on her show, who would be picked.
Jang Do Yeon then surprised fans by saying that she would pick Go Youn Jung, which was hilarious as she was Lee Jae Wook’s co-star in Alchemy Of Souls, and also aespa’s Karina.

It wasn’t surprising that fans looked to see Lee Jae Wook’s expression, and when Jang Do Yeon suggested he join, the actor responded, “Can I even (dare) join?”

Of course, considering the timing of the video, it wasn’t surprising that netizens couldn’t hide their reactions.
