A few days ago, the media was abuzz with speculations about a possible romance between HYBE’s legendary producer, Pdogg, and popular weathercaster Kim Ga Young.

On February 13, SPOTV News published an exclusive report stating that the couple has been going on public dates without concealing their identities and are currently in a serious relationship.

Following these reports, HYBE decided to put out a statement, saying that they wouldn’t be able to confirm or deny the news since it is a private matter of their producer.

We are unable to confirm the news as it is regarding the private life of one of our producers.

But recently Kim Ga Young publicly acknowledged their relationship while she was live on air on MBC Radio.

On February 15, KST, Kim appeared on MBC Radio’s Good Morning FM as a guest. The interviewer, DJ Tei, announced to his listeners that she was in a relationship. Though Kim didn’t mention Pdogg’s name, she said that she gets along well with her partner.

Both of us really enjoy our work. So we’re working hard while supporting and caring for each other, and dating well.

Interestingly, Kim was also a guest on the same show the day her dating news was published. DJ Tei explained that he didn’t bring it up on that day intentionally to let the dust settle. Kim explained the awkwardness of announcing her relationship on air but also thanked everyone who had sent best wishes their way.

Meanwhile, PDogg is the genius behind many of BTS’s biggest hits, including “Boy In Luv,” “Fire,” “Fake Love,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” and “Spring Day.” On the other hand, Kim Ga Young has been working as a weather forecaster for nine years. She is also a prolific TV personality, having appeared on variety shows like Kick A Goal, Apocalypse: Hondonui Jigubangwidae, and Life Blooms Again.
