Brent Faiyaz has the best dream ever in his new music video, “WY@”.
Directed by Mark Peaced, the D.M.V. singer croons over his lover, played by actress Lupita Nyong’o, where they showcase their chemistry in various striking scenes.
“Even I know you bring no good for me / But you feel so good to me,” he sings as they cruise through the desert and from the set of the video. “Every time I come back I try to leave / So how you end up back with me?”, he continues before he wakes up and sees her on a late-night television show.
“WY@” is off last year’s album, Larger Than Life featuring collaborations from Missy Elliott, A$AP Rocky, Babyface Ray, and more.
