Shortly after the song was released, it was announced that Shuhua was going to take a break from activities due to her health. While Shuhua tried with some schedules, CUBE explained that it was best for her to take some time off, and the rest of the group has been promoting the album as four members.

While fans have been sending their well-wishes, some netizens have raised concerns after Shuhua was spotted in a night market after going home to Taiwan. In one post, an OP explained that Everline announced another fansign…

But with four members, the OP emphasized the lack of Shuhua photocards. Yet, when pointing out the sightings of Shuhua, they seemed to criticize the idol, adding, “Why is she not resting properly if she’s sick.”

Everline announced another online fansign, but it shows only four photocards on the image. It also says Shuhua will not participate. Shuhua fans should prepare themselves mentally as it’s highly likely that there won’t be a card for Shuhua in this set of photocards. It’s possible that there won’t be a card for Shuhua in future photocard sets.

I’m so mad at CUBE. This comeback has been such a big mess. Music show stages have been canceled.

I heard that Shuhua came back to Taiwan to rest, but a fan ran into her at the night market. I don’t understand why she’s not resting properly if she’s sick. Why did she go to the night market…? I really hope the fan made a mistake. I really don’t want my idol to deceive her fans.

The fan then hit back at the idol for going to the night market instead of resting, bringing up the fansign again. While they explained that they didn’t say she couldn’t go, they said that it wasn’t sensitive, even comparing it to the other four members by adding, “Did the other 4 members ever go on a hiatus due to health reasons..?”

From my point of view, since the company has already announced your hiatus due to health reasons, then you should rest properly at home, instead of going to the night market and getting seen by fans. I understand that you have to relax occasionally, but you can’t even participate in a fansign, yet you can go to the night market.

I’m not saying she can’t go to the night market, but to appear at a night market during this sensitive time period…she’s debuted for so many years now, don’t tell me she doesn’t understand this…?

You guys say she’s worked very hard, could be tired and want to rest, but who’s not tired during a comeback? Everyone knows how tough it’s been for her, but did the other 4 members ever go on a hiatus due to health reasons…everyone goes through a time when they’re not in their best condition, is there anyone who got to this point without working hard?

Yet, while some netizens criticized Shuhua’s actions, many others defended her online. Fans explained that while Shuhua might be on a break due to health, it shouldn’t mean that she shouldn’t be allowed to go or do anything. While some pointed out that the fans seemingly only cared about the fansign, others wanted to know if they thought Shuhua should’ve continued to the point where she really did faint.

^^ Just like what I said. It seems like they only care about the fansign.

If going to the night market means she’s deceiving fans, does that mean you want her to faint on stage? I really want to ask that fan if they want Shuhua to faint on stage and be carried to the hospital in order to exchange for their praise?

如果去夜市就是在欺骗粉丝的话
那你是更加希望她昏倒在舞台上吗?

真的很想请问一下那位粉丝
是想叶舒华昏倒在舞台被抬进医院
才能换你一句敬业感动的称赞,是这样么?

Another OP emphasized the point of whether fans thought Shuhua should be confined to her house, adding that “rest” doesn’t always mean being bedridden.

Shuhua toughed it out and promoted for several days even while she was sick, and she even wanted to continue, but her agency announced her hiatus. You didn’t see it? If you don’t know Korean, then you should at least look at the translation, no?Does one have to be locked in their home when they’re taking a break to rest? Or do they have to lie down at home at all times? It seems like this person is trying to “educate” others without understanding the situation themselves. I’m gonna vomit.

Many fans believe that although K-Pop idols go on health hiatus, it shouldn’t mean they are confined to their house, which wouldn’t do anything for their mental health. Most of the time, idols are worn out from all their schedules, and time away can do wonders for their health, even if it’s going out without a purpose.
