Over a nostalgic R&B production by JD, power couple Nelly and Ashanti trade excerpts from Subway and 702 1994 classic of the same name.
On one of their verses, Nelly’s welcomes his queen, rapping, “Baby, I’m glad you came, can’t even lie / I love looking at you, girl, and them thighs,” before Ashanti responds, “Only you can make me feel like this / Got that drippy dripping just right, all them things we gon’ do, I can’t wait.”
Meanwhile, Juicy J joins the party with a raunchy verse. “You the finest thang in the club, baby, all eyes on you / And I got a long-ass list of nasty shit that I wanna try on you / Don Julio, ass so fat, I might lose composure / Take you back to my penthouse, see if you can squirt like a Super Soaker.”
“This Lil’ Game We Play” is Jermaine’s first music since last year’s “Pick It Up” with Jacquees. It also marks Nelly and Ashanti first record together since their 2008 “Body On Me” collaboration featuring Akon. Last December, the pair announced they are expecting their first child together.
