With the Bob Marley: One Love film set to hit theaters, Daniel Caesar shares his contribution to the film’s motion picture soundtrack.
Performing Bob Marley and The Wailers’ “Waiting In Vain“, Daniel gives the 1977 track his modern take. He sings, “From the very first time I blessed my eyes on you, girl / My heart said, “Follow through” / But I know now that I’m way down on your line / But the waiting feel is fine.”
“Waiting In Vain” marks Daniel’s first music since last year’s album, Never Enough. The biopic film Bob Marley: One Love is centered around the life of reggae artist icon Bob Marley and premieres in theaters February 14. The soundtrack will also include performances by Skip Marley, Wizkid, Jessie Reyez, Bloody Civilian, Leon Bridge, and Kacey Musgraves.
