In 2021, it was announced that Kim would join the cast of Netflix’s production of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Avatar is a popular animated series about a reality where some humans can master control of one of four elements; water, fire, earth, and air. The series is set around a young boy whose mastery of all four elements will free the world from the threat of destruction at the hands of the Fire Nation.

After a not-well-received film adaptation of Avatar, netizens have been waiting in suspense for the first look at the new series. On January 23, Netflix shared the first trailer from the film, giving fans a look at the effects that will bring the world of Avatar to life.
While netizens have had mixed opinions on the actual trailer, it seems the internet has come to one conclusion regarding Kim’s appearance.
Kim is starring as Fire Lord Ozai, the ruler of the Fire Nation, who has plans to conquer the other nations. Ozai is shown to be incredibly in shape in the series’ big battle.
