Leader Of Idol Group Sentenced For Violating Military Laws

A 32-year-old idol was sentenced today for dodging his military obligations.

On January 17, an idol, Mr. Ahn, was given a 1 year prison sentence, suspended for two years for violating military laws. The idol was also given 80 hours of community service.

According to reports, Mr. Ahn debuted as his group’s leader in 2018. The idol was originally charged for faking having a learning disability to dodge serving as an active soldier.

In his ruling, the judge revealed the reason why the idol didn’t receive a harsher sentence, citing the fact that the idol didn’t have a criminal record.
