HARDY – becoming THE CROW (Short Film)
Michael Wilson Hardy, known professionally as Hardy has released a short film entitled “Hardy – becoming THE CROW”. This documentary directed by Justin Clough and showcases the release of Hardy’s album “The Mockingbird & The Crow”. This album displays the two sides of Hardy with the first half being a country album and half way through the song “The Mockingbird & The Crow” becomes a kick ass heavy rock album that verges on metal.
The film starts with Hardy playing two world famous clubs in Los Angeles The Troubador & The Roxy. For one night only, Hard played the country side of the album to a crowd at The Troubador and leaves the stge to play the rock half of the album to a crowd at The Roxy.
This short film conveys so much more about the inception of the album and how his fans would take it and the commitment it took to be true to who he is. Watch the above video to experience an incredible behind the scenes of the making and writing of “The Mockingbird & The Crow”.
