One of the moments that caught netizens’ attention was BTS V‘s candid discussion about how he has matured over the years.

V was only 17 years old when he debuted, and he grew into an adult with the world watching as the group skyrocketed to global stardom over the last decade.

Since the group’s debut, V has been known for his playful and funny personality, and his fellow members described him as “unique” and “free-spirited,” with Jin jokingly adding that he was a bit rebellious.

Leader RM explained that over the years, he’s noticed many “positive changes” in V as he grew up.

During BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, V discussed the changes in his behavior and personality over the years, explaining that he had realized the “beauty and fun of peace and quiet,” and he felt he was “too active, playful, and too much of a jokester” when he was younger.

He stressed that he now finds peace in solitude and that he is happy when he is alone.

Netizens reacted to V’s reflections, with many praising his mature outlook on his growth and his honesty about the natural changes in his personality over the years.

Can we appreciate Tae shutting down all the “he’s changed” “he’s d3pressed” allegations, in his own sophisticated way, even if he didn’t mean to Just cos u were once loud, don’t mean you always will be, and I’m glad he has happily embraced that pic.twitter.com/9BGeMqCSKv

Him ‘growing up’ was the most noticeable because he went quiet, and initially I wondered if he went through something that made him change. But after watching him post Festa 22 I realized he’s still the same Tae, just calmer and seemingly more content.

we’ve never seen him happier this chapter 2…finding happiness both crowds and in solitude is a tough balance

I relate to him so much I was a HUGEEEEEE extrovert when I was younger but now I’m ambivert(so in the middle)
I actually enjoy time being alone or with less people maybe it’s bc I’m getting older or mature but idk I calmed a lot down
