BLACKPINK’s Jennie Shocks Netizens By “Aging Backward” In New Photos

Since debuting, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has showcased growth, whether it’s her performance skills, confidence, or visuals that have gone from girl next door to “IT” girl.

Despite being 27 years old and being in the industry for over seven years, recent photos of the idol have netizens think she’s aging backward.

It was recently announced that Jennie would be joining the star-studded cast of Apartment 404, with the likes of Yoo Suk Jae, Oh Na Ra, and many more.

On January 11, tvN posted some new screenshots from the show. Jennie looks absolutely beautiful in a pale pink cardigan and matching headband teamed with a plain white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white trainers.

Throughout the photos, it is clear how much fun Jennie is having and it’s why netizens were so happy the idol left YG Entertainment so she could have these opportunities.

When the photos were posted, netizens couldn’t get over how Jennie seemed to be “aging backwards,” but they also pointed out how the idol could easily pass as a “rookie” idol with her innocent visuals rather than a veteran.

Jennie might have been in the industry since 2016, but the photos showcase her youthful visuals, and it could be easy to mistake her for a fifth-generation idol.
