STAYs have accused the Coach of doing Stray Kids‘ Seungmin dirty regarding his advertisement.
Stray Kids’ Seungmin
In November 2023, it was announced that Seungmin would be featured on the cover of the January 2024 special edition of Nylon Japan, wearing pieces from Coach’s “Cosmic” holiday collection.

Fans rushed to buy the collection, selling out many of the pieces, including those that he was photographed with.

Naturally, as the holiday season ended the feature spot on the Coach website was replaced, with fans grateful for the opportunity for Seungmin. However, some recently changes on Coach Japan’s social media account have led fans to accuse the brand of doing Seungmin dirty.
During the holiday season Coach Japan had multiple sponsored posts of Seungmin wearing the collection on its Instagram account that linked to product pages.
On January 3, fans noticed that these posts were missing from the page, seemingly deleted or archived.
coach japan seriously removed seungmin ???? i’m so fucking angry pic.twitter.com/k0zUGv7N9z

The posts about the collection are still up on Nylon Japan’s page, leading some to question if the promotion for the collected was limited to the holiday season. Seungmin is also not an official ambassador for the brand, which might make a difference in how his images are and are able to be used.
It’s simply contract, in Japan generally speaking, if skz are planning to sign a contract with another brand at a later date there’s a high possibility that they were specify a publication period. Apparently the period was over so they deleted, just that. Don’t make things big. https://t.co/YATr47GLdN

Regardless, fans have accused Coach of “doing him dirty” by deleting the photos after his successful partnership with them. Many have stated they wish there would have at least been a reason given for the posts disappearing.
deleting someone’s posts after using their name and imagine to make money for your brand is just straight up disrespect and unprofessionalism, i really hope seungmin gets to woke with even bigger and better brands that will finally give him the treatment he deserves

even if taking down seugmin’s post was a mutual agreement between the company and coach it’s just disrespectful to seungmin and the stays who haven’t been warned and ordered from coach thanks to SEUNGMIN
