Named a winner for the first time since his debut in 2008, Lee looked overwhelmed as he walked up to the mic to share his acceptance speech…

…though, he soon began to pour his heart out for five minutes.

After thanking the production team and co-stars of No Path Back, Lee shared that, while he has been told to keep his speech short, he had a lot of people to thank—piled up over the decade he has been active in the field.

And it turned out that the list included, in addition to his parents, his wife and kids, his mother-in-law, his brother, and his sister-in-law, as well as directors he hasn’t gotten a chance to work with quite yet!

First, I’d like to thank my mom and dad. Ever since I started acting, I know I must have made them nervous. But they have never doubted me once. They’ve been nothing but supportive—loving me more than I could love myself. And I’d like to thank my in-laws who have taken care of me since I was in college.

In fact, if it hadn’t been for my mother-in-law who looked after my children while I was on set for No Path Back, I would not have made it here tonight. So, thank you. And to my brother and my sister-in-law who always have my back… Thanks for lending me money whenever I’m in need…

…To all the directors who’ve ever cast me, as well as all the directors who will be casting me, thank you!

Lee’s most down-to-earth and “realistic” speech made his co-stars laugh, soon becoming one of the viewer’s favorites.
