For the first time since 2015, Pledis Entertainment is preparing to debut a new boy group!
On December 20, the Korean entertainment label shared a logo motion video to tease their upcoming new group. In the video, they revealed that the name of the group is TWS (투어스), which is pronounced “to us” and is short for “TWENTY FOUR SEVEN WITH US“.
This will be the third group managed by Pledis Entertainment, following NU’EST (who debuted in 2012) and SEVENTEEN (who debuted in 2015). The logo for TWS was also shared in the teaser video, and it looks like a cute emoji that netizens are already finding endearing.
There have been rumors that Pledis Entertainment has been working on a new boy group for quite some time, and the suspected debut date is set for early 2024. Additionally, rumored trainees of the group include former I-LAND contestant Daniel, former Trainee A‘s JJ and Han Jihoon, and Boys Planet contestant Lee Daeul.

Not all of the reactions are totally positive, though, with many people already criticizing the name chosen for the group.
