The new SBS girl-group audition show Universe Ticket premiered last month, introducing 82 young contestants competing to debut in an eight-membered girl group.

Ever since the contestants were revealed through profile teasers in July, people have been curious about the contestants. Some were concerned that the contestants were too young, with the youngest members being 12 years old.

Among some of the youngest contestants was Lee Eunchae, who gained attention for her talent and visuals.

14-year-old Hwang Sieun also gained attention for her celebrity-like visuals and skills.

During one of Universe Ticket‘s battle rounds, Lee Eunchae and Hwang Sieun performed in the same group and impressed the judges with their cute performance of OHMYGIRL‘s “Dolphin.”

Fans were happy to see Lee Eunchae and Hwang Sieun on the same stage. People then realized they were familiar with these two stars because they were both child models.
Before Universe Ticket, Lee Eunchae was a child model popular for her visuals. She modeled for well-known brands and starred in commercials and children’s television programs.

Hwang Sieun also had an impressive amount of experience as a model prior to her Universe Ticket journey.

With experience in the entertainment industry and their talents showcased in Universe Ticket, many are expectant to see how these girls will do on the show.

The top eight contestants on Universe Ticket will debut as a girl group under F&F Entertainment with a contract of two years and six months. Former I.O.I and Gugudan member Kim Sejeong, Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon, dancer Rian, and soloists Younha and Adora are the “unicorns,” or the mentors and judges of the show.
