What up gang.
Back with the real you know what’s the deal. Today we’re going to dedicate this video to the late Young Dolph that lost his life a few days ago after being shot while getting cookies for his moms at one of his favourite stores in Memphis, Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies https://youtu.be/8d-_lqdnDVc (3:30-3:45)

Young Dolph was more than just a rapper, he was a companion, a father, a businessman, a community activist, and had a huge heart. This video is a tribute to everything he was and how he impacted the lives of those around him in a positive way and made his community better. Let’s chop it up and break down the legacy of the King of Memphis, Young Dolph.
Before we get into it, there is some good news in the murder of Young Dolph, they found the murder vehicle guys https://youtu.be/iEoDpLe7h-4 (0:00-0:30) Memphis isn’t playing about Dolph. So hopefully the ones responsible will pay the consequences soon. I’ll keep you all updated.
Man it’s been a crazy few days since we lost Dolph. It still feels so surreal. The stories of how down to earth and cool he was have been really showing how humble he was with his fame. Even with the rough upbringing he had, Dolph was changing lives and uplifting his community and even outside his community. Dolph left a bunch of memories to his fans. In 2020 he gave away his Lamborghini to a fan https://youtu.be/hhYiTx8V6JI (1:00-2:15) https://youtu.be/SFEKmlMMdsM (2:17-2:42) He was the kind of dude to care so much for his fans, that he tracked down two Duke University employees who were fired for playing his music in the coffee shop, flew them out to Rolling Loud and blessed them with 20 bands each https://youtu.be/MlAs5W84mok (0:14-1:45)
Dolph was the type of dude to visit a Cancer Centre to show love and appreciation for how hard they work to save lives and bring comfort to persons like some of his family members that were diagnosed with cancer https://youtu.be/44JxQMTXsfI (0:05-0:24) https://youtu.be/44JxQMTXsfI (0:33-1:12) https://youtu.be/44JxQMTXsfI (6:45-7:25) Young Dolph was as down to earth as they come given how successful he was. It’s no surprise that the world is mourning his passing. The Boss Rick Ross shared a heartfelt message on the rapper, showcasing his own PRE chain gifted by Dolph and urged fans to celebrate his legacy and keep his memory alive https://youtu.be/fLFtBTnJa-U (1:06-1:45)
Former Cash Money Hot Boyz member Turk felt what a lot of us felt and uploaded a video venting his frustration on the loss of Dolph, talking that real to persons like the shooters that took Dolph’s life https://youtu.be/pwJM8JCyi18 (5:21-6:16)
Turk said what needed to be said, trying to reach the youth, the gang bangers glorifying the senseless deaths. You can hear the conviction in his voice and that’s what we need, people to continue speaking on it and try to bring change https://youtu.be/pwJM8JCyi18 (7:42-8:00) Many other artists and celebrities shared his anger and hurt. Memphis singer, K Michelle joined voicing her frustrations
Breakout rapper, Morray echoed the same, urging for the killing to stop.
It’s a sea of emotions and everyone was dealing with the loss as best they could. Throughout the rap community, condolences and respects poured out for the Memphis legend. It was like a collective voice shedding tears for Dolph
If I’m being honest, I never realized just how many lives Youngn Dolph impacted while he was here, and that’s the sad thing about it. Because the media only shows one side, when bro was doing so much and had so much love for his fans. He really wanted to create generational wealth for his kids and leave a legacy they could be proud of away from the streets. Dolph would purchase a foreclosure for his children every year for their birthdays https://youtu.be/IKdYGjxTb1k (0:05-0:27) He had a real estate portfolio that extended across over 100 properties in Memphis
Dolph didn’t attain fame and just used it selfishly for himself, he wanted to inspire change in everyone around him and everyone coming up. Truth is, bro was a true community activist under the music and street life that grew him up and he had a huge heart always giving back
And that gravitated people to him. He always had time to rock with his fans and fans showed hella love https://www.instagram.com/p/CWZBEvXvkRq/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link (second slide)
The love was universal, and the hurt of his passing is the same. But fans aren’t letting his memory and legacy disappear, from tattoos to rapping his music in stores and in public, they rocking with Dolph forever no matter colour or race

https://www.instagram.com/p/CWewJI1gc2N/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
There was something about bro authenticity and energy that just made people smile when giving bro his flowers or just vibing. Lots of pics you can just feel how cool Dolph was with people
His music touched lives, his shows was nothing but love https://www.instagram.com/reel/CWZGx6zFUSv/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Even the goat, Lil Wayne was rocking with bro heavy. Just the energy when he mentions Dolph name you can tell like Dolph was for everyone man https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWemKgetBP2/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Many times you hear rappers speak on their horrible time at school, but even with the life he lived, Dolph impacted the lives of even his principal who he made a believer in his dreams after he doubted Dolph’s vision of making it big. The principal’s heartfelt message dang near brought thug tears to my eyes
If he impacted so much on persons he’s crossed paths with, imagine how broken those he kept close are feeling. His cousin and signed artist, Key Glock have been taking his death hard.
When news broke about Dolph passing, Key Glock instantly disappeared from online, wiping his Instagram
The two are like Batman and Robin, mentor and protégé, Key Glock was next up and Dolph was all for it. They worked together on numerous records and projects like their tape “Dumb and Dumber”
They were like brothers so I know Key Glock is going through it. Their chemistry and vibe were just natural https://youtu.be/V0gkqqmqzZU Images recently surfaced of Key Glock moving his cars out of Memphis. That’s probably for the best right now because now PRE falls on his shoulders to continue Dolph’s movement.
Send prayers up for Key Glock and even more for his Girl and his kids. I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re going through. Dolph was always about family, and he held true to that in his actions.
In a couple heartfelt posts, his girl and mother of his kids shared her hurt, appreciation for the support, and being confused as to how to tell their kids their dad is gone
What makes the situation even more sad is that her business and brand Momeo was dedicated to advocating Black Men Deserve To Grow Old https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWg0BeJlcGi/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
She even showed love to the Bakery owners and asked persons to assist instead of directing hate towards them. Dolph’s whole family been had a heart of gold I swear. I know his girl will raise their kids to be as strong and full of love and ambition like their dad.
Shout out to Jake from End Of Sentence for reaching out to the owners and setting up this gofundme to assist them through this tragedy. That was a real move on his path. Dolph fasho would appreciate it.
We truly lost a real one, solid, and was always for elevating others. Hating wasn’t in his bone. Even the judge knew Dolph could lead the youth when he appointed him to mentor a bad lil kid for 24hrs. Dolph always turned moments into laughter. He was ready to whop ole boy ahh
Dolph even featured bro in his music video for “Get Paid” https://youtu.be/HbP71cRI7iw (0:15-0:58) Dolph was a good sport man.
It’s with sadness that I conclude this vid, but also happy that we got to enjoy Dolph the time he was here and I’m fasho going to keep vibing his music and keeping his memory alive. This senseless killing has got to stop man, it really has to. We’re losing all the real ones and people are hurting. We’ve got to change and do better man, no matter race or background, we all one and got to show more love. Hope Dolph’s passing is a wake up call. His Mural was placed in Downtown LA and I’m sure more will pop up to show the king of Memphis love forever
So there you have it. Thanks for kicking it with yah boy, appreciate the love and support. Never forget Dolph’s legacy, let’s keep it alive and learn from his heart and inspire the youth and those around us. I’ll end the vid with some more posts from athletes, his family, and persons that Dolph touched while he was on earth. Catch ya’ll in the next one. Peace up and peace out. RIP Young Dolph. Long Live The King Of Memphis.
