Earlier this year, former Miss A member and top actress Suzy introduced a new way of flirting: the “Suzy” smile.

In April, Suzy appeared as a guest on singer Jo Hyunah‘s YouTube talk show Jo Hyunah’s Thursday Night. When Jo Hyunah asked for tips on getting someone to fall for her, Suzy introduced a smile she had heard of before.
According to Suzy, the key was to smile and only slightly show your top teeth rather than smiling widely.

She admitted you might look a bit foolish doing the smile, but netizens and Jo Hyunah agreed that it only worked because Suzy was doing it.
However, this “Suzy” smile became a trend, with netizens and influencers trying it out. TikTok influencer Jooshica explained the viral trend and did her version of it, asking netizens if the smile was working.

Even American singer and actress Selena Gomez has attempted the flirting smile!
Jooshica recently met with Selena Gomez and taught her about the viral trend in Korea.
There’s a saying that if you do this smile, everyone’s going to fall in love with you.

Jooshica wrote in the caption, “SHE ATE,” and some netizens agreed. More than the cute bunny-like smile that Suzy originally introduced, Selena Gomez did it in her own way with a more model-like expression.
