Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is the latest guest on BamHouse, a YouTube series hosted by GOT7‘s BamBam. The latter is famous for being one of her biggest fans in the industry and was especially interested in knowing her ideal type.
Taeyeon replied that the characteristics that she looks for in men changed throughout the years.
When I was younger, I was concerned more about looks.

Nowadays, however, she puts a premium on personality. She is attracted to people who can hold an intelligent conversation with her. Once this is achieved, she falls for them easily.
But now, I really don’t care about that. If I can hold a conversation with and learn from that person, then I tend to do my best for them.

In Taeyeon’s own words, she isn’t looking for anything too complicated.

BamBam commiserated with the Girls’ Generation member, acknowledging that she must have a hard time finding someone who can match up to her: “It must be super difficult to find someone you can learn from because most people will learn from you.”

She, unfortunately, hasn’t been having much luck looking for someone like this. Taeyeon agreed with BamBam when he commented, “Not many people are like that.” Her hope is to at least have a smooth flowing conversation with someone eventually.
It isn’t easy, honestly. Maybe it’ll be okay as long as we can have good conversations.
