Park Eun Bin, who plays the lead role in Castaway Diva, also recently addressed the controversy. On December 4, she attended an interview for Castaway Diva and shared how she felt about the news of the K-Drama’s “irresponsible” filming.
It’s such a shame. There are facts beyond facts, and there are situations that the public doesn’t know about, but there’s nothing we can do about that… There are situations that may feel unfair depending on one’s perspective.

Although there have been many complaints about noise and traffic restrictions due to filming K-Dramas, this situation gained more attention because it involved environmental damage.
The Castaway Diva production team also faced allegations of unauthorized filming without obtaining administrative cooperation and permits for communal sleeping areas. In response to these allegations, the production team issued an apology, expressing regret and promising to restore the site as soon as possible.
