BTS has fought their way to the top through their talents and hard work, rising from a small company to become a representative K-Pop group, conquering the global market.

Three of the members are currently serving their mandatory military service, with the remaining four members intending to reveal their enlistment plans before the end of the year.
The group remains at the top of their game, with the individual members all finding great success in their solo releases, able to explore their own unique artistry in BTS’s “chapter 2.”

Many of the members have been able to work with their childhood heroes and those who inspired them during their 10-year careers.
RM and Suga have been able to collaborate with Epik High, Jin collaborated with British rock band Coldplay, and Suga worked with the late Oscar-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, to name a few of the epic collaborations.

While filming for his talk show Suchwita, Suga opened up more about the group’s inspirations and named the senior K-Pop group that BIGHIT MUSIC asked the members to look up to as trainees.

Suga’s latest Suchwita guest was SHINee‘s Taemin, and Suga praised the 2nd gen artist and his fellow group members for the lasting impact the 15-year group has made.
We would see you guys perform your hearts out and we would hear a lot about it when we were trainees.

Suga shared that BIGHIT MUSIC would encourage BTS to watch SHINee’s performances, saying, “They put so much work into it!” and added that the company told the members to look up to SHINee’s level of performance, saying to them, “You should need a respirator when you come down from the stage! That’s how hard you need to work! You need to think you’d die on stage!”

Suga concluded, saying to Taemin, “You guys were so cool,” to which the SHINee maknae showed his gratitude for the praise.
