TXT recently made their comeback with their third studio album, The Name Chapter: FREEFALL, which Taehyun feels “went the smoothest of all [their] albums, at least as far as recording the vocals was concerned.”
For Taehyun, the group’s third album is a “major turning point,” as he feels TXT is getting better at putting their thoughts and feelings into their lyrics in order to become more relatable artists.

With four years as an idol under his belt, Taehyun is getting more comfortable with his vocals and dance performance, although he strives to continue improving.
Taehyun has a goal of reaching a point where he moves people just by watching his performance, stating that he himself is especially moved when he “[witnesses] great art.”

He opened up about one example, naming a time when he was recently moved to that extent, and it was all thanks to his talented labelmate, BTS’s Jungkook.
Taehyun revealed that he recently watched Jungkook’s “3D” choreography video and was blown away by the BTS maknae‘s performance.

Taehyun praised Jungkook, sharing that his performance epitomized what it means to be “moving” because of the effortless way the BTS member embodied the song in his movement.
After watching the video, Taehyun was left wanting to see, hear, and learn more, and knew that was a level of performance he wished to achieve.
He’s got an aura all his own. He’s the GOAT, hands down. Every move he makes across every bar of the song just oozes cool and nuance. It’s like, ‘What did I just watch? What am I listening to?’ I had to watch it again. I think that’s what it means to be moving.
